11am-2pm
Admission to the museum and this event is FREE to all NM residents on the first Sunday of every month :)
International Save the Frogs Day is an event celebrated around the world to raise awareness of the many threats to amphibian biodiversity. To celebrate Save the Frogs Day in New Mexico, we will host an educational outreach event involving a frog call competition, "kid-meet-kermit" introductions to live frogs, a science seminar series, "meet-the-experts" information booths and additional educational/explorer activities. The event will be a delightful day for families (children of all ages), provide educational opportunities and hopefully garner public support for conservation of amphibiansin New Mexico and worldwide.
